SoyaSoftware

Useful Mac software for makers and small shops

Contact

Questions, corrections, and suggestions all land in the same inbox, so I keep things simple. If something on a program page looks off—a download link that stopped working, a version number I missed, a note that no longer matches the latest macOS release—please let me know. I update the catalog by hand, and a sharp-eyed reader often spots a change before I do.

Before you write about a broken link or version

I can answer faster when the message includes a few specifics. That saves us both a round of back-and-forth while I guess which program or setup you mean.

  • The exact program name as it appears on SoyaSoftware
  • The version number shown on the page right now
  • Your macOS version and whether your Mac runs Apple silicon or Intel
  • What you expected to happen and what actually happened

A quick screenshot of an error or the page in question never hurts, but it is never required.

Copyright concerns

If you believe something in the catalog infringes your copyright, please use the information on the DMCA page rather than the general contact address. That route goes straight to the right process and helps me handle things properly.

Suggesting a program

I add tools I genuinely think a maker or small shop would find useful—especially ones that are self-contained, reasonably priced, and happy on the Mac. If an app you rely on isn’t listed yet, send a note. Tell me what it does and why it belongs. I cannot promise to list everything, but I read every suggestion.

How quickly to expect an answer

I answer all real messages, usually within a couple of business days. Some weeks the shop keeps me busier than others, so I won’t quote a fixed number of hours. If you don’t hear back right away, I haven’t forgotten you—I am probably packing orders between inbox checks. Comments on program pages work the same way: every one is moderated before it appears, and your own comment will show as "awaiting moderation" until I review it.

You can reach me at [email protected]. I read everything that arrives, even if I can only reply when the packing tape is put away.
